has anyone replaced there front speaker on here. suz i got some new ones and i either need an adapter or take the factory housing off of the stock ones and put on the aftermarket one. just wanted to know wut others did. if anyone did it

Are you talking about the 2 in. speaker up on the dash? and are you trying to put a larger speaker there? if you are idk about any adapters but i've heard of people molding the stock housing to make it bigger and fit a 3.5 in. speaker.

 

no im talkin bout the 6.5 door speakers

 

i just installed 5.25"componets in my doors and used 2" steel brackets to keep them in place. Then placed the door panel back on

 

im just deciding to put the factory housing on the aftermarket ones cuz i no thats a def. fit
