does anyone know if the 1st or 2nd gen headlight wiring harness/plug will fit a 3g?? thanks

i would seriously doubt it considering they are pretty much 2 completely different cars.

yeah, i didnt think they would, well aparently the previous owner was in a big wreck that the carfax (or the owner for that matter) forgot to mention. a bunch of body work was done and apparently they decided it would also be a good idea to not replace the (im assuming here) bad headlight plug. so instead of a plug i have 3 wires hangin there that are hooked up with some clever rigging and electrical tape, i hate half assed stufff so i just kinda wanted to make it right

ahhh i c..... Well if you want to make it right why dont you just put a 3g harness on it and be done with it?

exactly, ive been keepin an eye on the salvage yard down the street from me since i got my car last november, but they've only had (as far as i know) 1 1st gen talon, 1 2nd gen talon and 1 1st gen laser. i checked the other day and none of those have the same harness, oh well i guess ill just go to the dealer and get one

I wouldnt think that a harness for a headligh would be all that expensive.

its probably not, but i dont feel like drivin 30 minutes to the dealership for something that small

I had to buy a wire harness the first day. They are $2.75 or less at autozone and its like a 3 minute instalation. all you do is hook up the three wires to the 9003 bulb and you're good to go. Just say you need a 9003 harness at autozone theres no need for the dealer****p.
