Default Help! =(

Hey everyone!
New to this forum so hopefully i posted this question in the right area.
I have an Eclipse GTS 2003 and last night I wrecked on black ice (gotta love Ohio) and flipped it on it's top. I have the car home now and wanted to part it out and use some of the money to use for a new car, but i don't know where to begin or what prices to ask. Any help would be great. I'm so bummed out cuz i loved my car and now it's gone . I plan to put an ad on craigslist but not sure. I'll post some pics later. Thanks again =)

Check with junk yards and places like that for competitive prices I you have any aftermarket parts check online to see what the prices are for new and used I use amazon for price checks

Ouch seriously? Yeah that's why I LEFT Ohio. I'd look on e-bay for pricing. Maybe start taking some parts and listing them there. The engine if it's stock should get a few hundred. Might get around $500 or $600 for the engine stock. Also remember, usually you can score a couple hundred for the shell after you've pulled the parts you can salvage and sell from a regular scrapper (if you have any in your area. There's guys in my area all the time advertising to buy junk cars for the scrap metal). You'll probably end up with less than $1000 for everything unfortunately. Places like Pick'n'pull have such low prices that it makes it hard for you to compete. If you find the right person that doesn't want to do the work of pulling the engine themselves then you'll make out all right.

Yeah thanks for the info. It really sucks. My poor baby is sitting in my garage right now. It pains me to see it everyday. On the bright side, I guess I can buy a new one. Thanks again and if anyone needs parts contact me =)
