Default help

i have a 2000 eclipse GT and i am looking at puting on a cold air intake and was wondering about the sensors that are atached to the stock intake
do they still need to be hooked up to the cold air intake or just ripped out
any advice would be awsome since i never modified a new car before

thanx

and i'd stick with a good name brand intake because alot of those ebay ones are crap. They will break and could cause more harm than good.
