Help!
Alright I am drawing a blank after 4 hours of attempting to diagnose my car, the engine still will not start or even turn over.
I checked the ignition fuses on the engine bay fusebox and the passenger fusebox, i checked the engine control fuse, oil level, etc. It was driving just fine earlier today and then parked it on the driveway from 3pm til about 5pm and then it wont start.
I had to tighten one of the battery terminals, and the battery was working fine, brought the top up and down and windows. Just won't turn over...
I NEED HELP, ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

wacking it is only a temporary fix, it starts then it wont start after a few, the oil gasket is old and worn and has been leaking onto the starter so it's not shorted out yet but its no longer getting sufficient power to start it, however there is a bypass near there to jump it and force the engine to start, which worked to get it into the garage again.
