Horn Problems, can anyone help
I should of taken Auto Shop in highschool but oh no, i had to take and easy class like study hall..LOL I just bought a 2001 eclipse and horn doesn't work, so i replaced the fuse that was burnt out inside of car, and pushed horn and heard a clicking noise, so checked the 12v in the engine fuse box, and clicking is coming from the fuse, so replaced it and still no horn, so took off the two horns that was in the front of the engine and one was small and metal and round, other was black and coiled around with a bell kind of and water poured out of it, so ordered two new horns, and installed them and then pushed the horn and guess what...... no horn but clicking noise still their when i press down on horn, unfortunatly i live in bum f*** in the middel of Montana, and had to order one of them books that u use to work on your car, but going to take a week to get here. Does anyone maybe have an idea on what i could try...... any information would be great.
thanks,

that clicking your hearing is a relay, not a fuse. a fuse is the little colored pieces in your fuse box, the relays are the somewhat bigger black boxes in your fuse box. if you replace the relay and its still not working, you may have a short somewhere or an incomplete circuit. get someone that knows something about electronics to help you if you cant figure it out
