Is there anyone that makes a computer chip to increase the hp on my 03 Eclipse V6?

safc cant add a hole lot of hp, it can lean fuel out a bit but thats only going to give you 5hp... maybe.

adding headers to the 3G will cause it to run rich which reduces power(dunno if that happens with other cars). he wouldn't really have to lean it out. he would just have to get it back to around 14.7:1 and he will gain some power.

on the GT it will get 10 or more HP with it leaned out a bit, like said before me the headers richen it up some and the SAFC does help it. But the 3G ECU is not piggy back friendly the SAFC I think can only be tuned at high revs and WOT and the lower RPM range cant hold its tune I think that is how it goes anyway. Its been a while since I hace a SAFC on a 3G

yeah, thats how it is. we can only tune the open-loop operation. we can't control the closed-loop.

Ya when I put my SAFC in my GS the car started running like *** and I tried to tune it some and after a day I noticed that it had been reset.

lol when I put hedders in my car it made it run leaner... also no cayt the rear o2 sensor reads too rich and leans out a bit. MY plugs are always white.
