so today some jackass in a chrysler 300 cuts me off on the highway, i have to swerve into the next lane to avoid hitting him, and am faced with a whole line of cars almost at a complete stop. i had to break hard and right after i got back up to highway speeds my car started shaking like crazy. so my stupid question for the day...
should i go with a balance and alignment first?

i skidded pretty far so i think im hearing a flat spot on the tires....hope thats all it is

 

Id assume its the rotors, stock rotors SUCK on these car

 

that would be my first thing to do.

when i had to change my rotors it was because my steering wheel was shaking like crazy. i would do the alinement first then the rotors if it persists

 

Get brembo rotors and this will never happen again

i did the balance and did basically nothing with that
the rotors were a little warped before so that makes sense. im gonna order the powerslot big brake kit, ive been wanting to anyway

its wierd, i made a huge cloud of smoke but got ONE flat spot on ONE tire....
anyway, while i had the car in the shop i figured id change my oil and tranny fluid too, found out my valve cover gasket is leaking like a mother. so im doin that next week. im gonna go ahead and do both (v6), might as well. do i just put the gasket on or should i put some kind of sealant on it?
