I know this topic has been posted before, but there haven't been any clear answers, so maybe now someone can help...

My AC condenser drain is backed up and water is flooding into the drivers floorboard. All I need to do is clean out the drain/unclog it, but I can't find it to save my life.

Does anyone know exactly where it is, have a picture of where it is, or a diagram of where it is so I can make my car stop smelling like a high school swimming pool!

This is a 2001 Eclipse RS.

just bought a 02 RS and I am having the same problem. We can see it dripping when the AC is on, which is always b/c I live in the ever hot and humid southeast Louisiana!!

Not sure if this is fact but the mechanic I had fix my starter said he knew that the 2001 plug was on the steering column. That didnt help me but hopefully it can help you.

 

i also have this problem. if you have a sun roof it could be the drains like mine don't know how to fix thou.KTB

it is right of the steering box @ 1 o clock of gas peddle if laying on floor looking at peddle. its plastic going thou firewall u would never find it on the outside
