Default Installed new AMP, new speakers... no sound.

What's going on?

[:@]I just installed a Kenwood 1800w mono amp 1 at 40hms(KAC-9103D) to the stock infinity radio on my 2000 Eclipse GT using a MITAH replacement harnessto bypass the stock ampbutall i get is 0, NADA, NOTHING, SILENCIO, SILENCE... i get no sound at all. Everthing seems to be working fine, amp getting right power, the remote amp turn-on cable works, speaker wire are properly contected.... but nothing. any help here would be great. Thank you in advance.

Gabriel.

Well.... if you bypassed the stock amp... what are you using to power the speakers? Not the sub.. the spkrs.

I'm using the same amp, with low frequency supressors for the mid range spkrs... nothing else. It's a pretty simple configuration. Nothing special.

make sure no fuses are blown and buy an aftermarket deck. you'll get way better sound than using that cheapass infinity deck. that deck along with a 900watt rockford fosgate amp ispushin my pioneer 10's and while they knock they could be better. And dont let circuit city or best buy tell you they can't install it because of the infinity sound system, THEY ARE FULL OF **** WHEN THEY TELL YOU IT WILL TAKE 4 HOURS OF REWIRING BECAUSE OF THE 2 STOCK AMPS IN YOUR CAR.
