alright so here is the deal i'm new to the eclipse/mitsu scene, and i don't know a great deal about them. as in what upgrades should be done first and what brands work best with the car. i just got a 2003 eclipse gs (manual) with the 2.4 4cyl. so with that what are the first things you would suggest doing, with out ricing the **** out of it.

Exhaust, intake, header maybe. Theres not alot you can do with non turbo engines. Depends how much cash you have! If you are loaded you could go with a set of high comp pistons.

alright, and my goal to is to turbo it. but for now i just want to make it alittle faster/quicker and just make it sound nice and look even better. i know with neons(thats all i drove before), there is some quick and easy ways to squeeze out a few more hp just by swapping parts from other neons. and also being able to make a pretty fast car with out going turbo. but as for the exuast-intake..ect, what brands are the best for the 03 eclipse? and is there any of those quick-cheap-o kinds of upgrades for it?

also, has anyone ever tried building there own turbo "kit" for the 3gen, (using the turbo from an older eclipse..ect.)
