So, while I didnt get any replies on my thread about buying one, the search function was my friend, and we picked this 04 up. Not sure its a real GST yet though, either way, its in great shape with 118k miles. Couple of minor bugs, power mirrors arent working, climate control light seems to be loose, little things. Any info on if these markings on the side ever came from the factory?

The writing/stickers? They would be not factory. They would have been put on by on eof the previous owners. If the v6 is correct then I believe all the spiders in the USA were gst. I may be wrong about that as I live in Canada. However take a picture of the intake Manifold.If it looks like a big tube with 6 similar length smaller tubes then it is a gst manifold. So that is a little closer for you. Then check the vin on one of the online sites and it may tell you for sure. My old vin showed as a gst when I ran it but it really was not the kind with a couple extra horsepower and the different manifiold.
