Are you saying the REARMIRROR defroster¿

Itis ELECTRICAL coming from the strips.DOESN'T NEED THE HOT AIR.

 

The defroster uses the a/c to dry the air. The a/c compressor running does use a little more gas but not much.

 

you use the ac will use up gas... but you should still be getting around 300milespertank

 

I have been using the defroster a lot since it is winter to clear the winshield

 

Anyone out there with the Spyder their only vehicle ........ wonder how you have handled the trunk space problem when playing hockey, golf or Mountain Biking? Has anyone installed some kind of bike rack to transport a bike? Golf bag is easy because you can always drop the top and and put it in the back seat but with hockey generally in the winter the only solution is to find a really small hockey bag.
I never realized how small the space was back there until I got the thing home and tried to put the convertilbe boot in the back with a small box of emergency items.

Ok less than a month I have had the vehicle .... got in my car to come home from work and it will not idle. When I get it into drive is seems to be fine but when I stop the vehicle will die so I have to put it into neutral and keep giving it gas. It happened the second day I bought it but it went away after the car warmed up but this time it was still the same even after I got home .... any ideas?

 

your battery terms are loose meaning your ecu resets and it will cause that idle problem beacuse the comp is trying to learn a/f again. tighten them up and it should be it.

 

I will go downstairs now and take a look at the terminals ...... and as a side note I would like to thank you WPSpyderGT01 as I have noticed how much you have been helping everyone on this site with their problems in the month I have been around

It looks pretty tight to me, I will take it to a mechanic tomorrow to see if maybe the battery is giving out a good enough charge but the lights dont seem dim and has no problem starting

 

buy a red top battery lol that wont do you wrong and you have a 3 year free replacement. it also could be one of your battery cables i noticed on mine it was cut and i had to get a new one. let me know what you get.
