Default P0301 # 1 Misfire

When I had my tune-up done last year I had the spark plugs and wires changed and got this error right away. I went back and the mechanic used is obd reader to shut it off and it was ok untill this winter. Now it is coming on every morning when I leave for work and night when I start my vehicle to come home.

I think it only misfires for about 2 - 3 minutes because once I start driving it seems ok ...... I just had the coil and spark plugs changed again but still has not fixed the problem, my next step is to change the plug wires.

Anyone has any other ideas?

Thanks

I had the same problem when I first got this car, after days of waiting the mechanic finally determined it was the distributor......its not a cheap job, it will run you close to $1000 if you have it done, he's a friend of the family and didnt charge me labor and it cost me $700, it could be other things though, unfortunately anything electrical in these cars is hard to trace.
