Plastic Gauge Cover - Odd Issue
Hey everyone. I have a 2004 Eclipse GTS. I had some work done on my car and when I got it back, the clear plastic gauge cover had streaks on it. I assumed it was just smeared with some kind of cleaning agent. When I finally got around to cleaning it, the smear disappeared and then slowly came back (almost like frost does on a window). Has anyone ever seen or heard of something like this? I've tried all kinds of cleaners and nothing seems to remove this weird frost-like substance. The gauges are readable but it's ugly and I'd LOVE to have this stuff removed.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
