Problem with 2004 GTS Help! please
I have been driving my car for a week now and I noticed my car starts to make a medal on medal pop sound whenever i make a right or left turn. It was doing it last week whenever its cold out but its warm out now where i live and it started doing it again. I have 60,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. Somebody at work said it could be my cvboot. Should i take it to the dealership and would that be covered if something is wrong with it? Or should I just take it to a private mechanic and have them look at it. It only does it sometimes. Any help would be great.

i had a problem that sound simliar to yours. everytime i made a turn it sounded like their was a stick caught in my rim on the front end. my friend told me that i could be that my lugs are loosening up. i took that for a grain of salt because i replaced my breaks about a month before this.
i took it in to have it looked at and paid 50 bucks to get my lugs tightened.
moral of the story: check your lugs

bk3939 the cv is a Constant Velocity joint on your half shafts. they occasionally get worn and will make this popping noise you are describing
