anyways, i wanted to paint it blue. should i paint it or should i scuff the metal in order to paint it.

lets just put it this way you get want you pay for... i bought a cold air intake off ebay same kinda deal you see with the strut bar i paid 30 dollars brand new and that b!TCH BROKE ON ME 3 DAYS AFTER I GOT IT

Yeah I JUST got one for my 2G and it is working great. But if you paint it (which I wouldn't) but you will have to scuff it to paint it
