Default problems starting 2004 eclipse

[X(]my daughter let her car run out of gas. We put some in but still won't start. Any help or ideas?

fuel pump most likely.
they don't like to be run dry.
You should always fill up around 1/4 tank

How much gas did you add? How long did you try starting it? It might take alittle bit to get it to start back up again. But im with josh on the fuel pump.

Yup most likely the pump.. never good to let them run out.

Is the car on a level surface? I know it sounds simple but that happened to me before and it was the incline towards the curb.

yea, the shop said fuel pump. $300 lesson learned. She also has the display for her music station out. Fuse maybe? Thanks for all the help!

Possibly fuse, maybe wire harness. Electrical problems other than simple fuses are almost impossible to solve on here.

In another thread a guy said his display went out because his cigarette liter fuse was shot. Don't know if it would be the same case here.

turned out not to be fuel pump. fuse was not plugged in
