Default quick question

alright fellas i have a 2002 eclipse gt the v6...i was thinking about gutting the cats..however i am not sure if doing this would throw a code and set the engine light on...any one know anything about this??

yes you will throw a code because some o2 sensors are behind the cats so unless you do the antifouler trick you will throw a code

If you gut the cats you'll get a po420 or p0430 which is a cat efficieny code. To trick the pcm you'll need o2 simulators.
