Okay, back on topic. Buy the [$800 used] turbo kit, or save for a quicker manual car?

Thats my final decision..

Save for a faster car, if you want turbo, get a car that is already turbo.

You are by no means ready to take on something of that caliber.

I've pretty much come to that point. The Eclipse is a great cruising car. I'm thinking the RSX Type-S will be sporty enough for me, in my price range, and capable of putting out 300fwhp. Any other suggestions in that price range ($7-12)?

Capable of putting out 300fwhp? Turbo maybe..... but I fail to see how that is any different than the discussion we are having now.

For one, I could have a manual transmission, something i've wanted for awhile. Nothing wrong with turboing an automatic, but as youve stated before (sebba), nothing like a manual trans.

I've driven a TSX, and it rides great. From what i've seen in the last few months, the 2000-2004 RSX Type-S goes for around 5k less than the newer body, and puts out around 200hp in an I4. The RSX Type S aparently is a lot quicker than the TSX, and costs less.
