Default stock block

I'm going to turbocharge my 2000 eclipse GS and I waswondering if anyone knowshow much boost the stock blockcan handle with forged pistons and rods. Also I kind of want to get anew block also. I'm having trouble finding a performance block on the internet. Does anyone know any sites or peoplewho makes4G64 like dart blocksor something like that. Does anybody think that it's worth buying a new block or just sticking with the stock block.

i think for your car you will be able to boost up to 300whp at like 12 or 15 psi.. your 4 cyl is better for boosting then my v6

So is that with the forgedpistons and rods, will I get to be able to boost the car more without ****ing up the block? Or is the block strong enough to handle say maybe like up to 17 or 18lbs of boost safely? Do you think I should get a new performance block? Also do you guys know where I could get a one?

The block itself is strong enough to take like 40. With forged internals you would be able to do that.

3G 4g64 can handle more than that oon a completely stock motor sebba A.A.I. was running 18PSI on stock motor and run 15 daily

and for built motors for all types of 3Gs go to www.tearstone.com Russ builds race blocks for them regularly

I know what you said and why, and I was letting you know that the Stock 4g64 motor and internals can do much better than 8PSI.
