Default Timing belt

So I got the car at 94K miles, and not sure if the last guy did the timing belt or not, so I figured better do it soon.......I don't think this is something I can handle myself, so has anyone had a shop like midas or a regular mechanic (not a dealership) do it? And how much did it run you? Thanks

ITs not cheap. Its also a huge pain in the ***, as the entire intake system pretty much needs to be pulled apart.

yeah i was afraid it would be expensive, but id like to get some actual numbers that a place might charge, cause depending on that i may just attempt it myself.....im good with car stuff to a point but never did a timing belt before and am told its very difficult

I paid $250.00 for labour to change the TB, FB, Oil, spark plugs and water pump. Was told if you do the TB you might as well do the waterpump at the same time.
