How the hell do you change the plugs and wires on a 2003 2.4l??? I haven't bought a book on this car yet, but will next pay check. I looked on the internet some, and read you have to pull half the intake off??? I'm new to the foreign car world, I am a very capable mechanic, Many years working on Chevy trucks. Any help would be great... Thanks in advance..

On the 2.4 you do not need to pull the intake off. That is only true for the V6 motor because the intake plenum is placed over the top of the rear 3 plugs
On the 2.4L the plugs are right in front of you. You need to pull the wires out and then get your tools and take the old plugs out. On your car that is litterly a 15 minute job

Ok on the valve cover see where the black square shape things are, they are the coils there are 2 and both have 2 screws holding them in place. You need to unscrew them pull them both out. under each one was is one of the wires. there are 4 wires total so 2 of them do not have a coil on top of them. So you just pull the wire out.
Grab the round part of the wire cover right where it hits the valve cover and pull it up and it should pop right out.
