hey everyone everytime i hit my brakes my whole car starts to shake .. it gets pretty violent when im at high speeds .. think it might be my rotors but if anyone has any suggestions let me know thanks

 

If it happens only when braking then yes its the rotors.

 

Im putting money on it being the rotors.

i would change out both your rotors and brake pads because if the rotors are warped you will have uneven wear on the pads so those will need to be replaced as well.

 

What if you have changed the rotors and pads and it still happens

Yes and more so at higher speeds or going down hills. I was thinking maybe bad rotors from mfg?

 

My 03 Eclipse was shaking when riding the brake lightly from high speed. It wascaused by the rear brake drums in this case; this is rare but does happen. Someone who mounted the wheels overtightened the lug nuts and warped the drums. Check your drum condition and rear brake shoes.
