2000 eclipse

Can anyoen tell me why there is a power cable running from my battery to my oilpan and a couple of other places?

Pics man I need pics. I'm guessing a sensor of some sort? But to the oil pan??

 

He must be seeing something wrong??? that doesnt make much sence

 

I'll post some pics when the sun is out again. its screwey man. I just zip tied 4 3prog plugs together. I have no idea where they came from. just saw em and figured that it wasnt right. oh well you've never seen this b4? hmm. see ya!

well usually all the wires to the battery are all together so is this one part of it. If not then my guess would be that someone used it for something else. Say maybe underlighting?
