Does anybody know what motor comes with the 06 eclipse and specs. I know the horsepower and torque but I was wanting to know things like model number and specs not giving to you by the dealership. I just want to get a baseline so that I know where I'm starting at. Thanks.

i beleve it is the same as in the 2000 eclipse which was a 4g64 i beleve in this case a mivc 4g64

 

yes it has the MIVC on the valve cover.

 

4G69 is the engine that comes in the 4G 4cyl.

 

I thought the 69 was the 2.0l in the lancers ir something I thought the 06 GS was a 4G64 MIVEC as well and thought the RA(ralliart) lancer was a 4G69 MIVEC.... I may be wrong on that I guess since It really doesnt concern me

 

the ralliart and the eclipse gs both are 4G69 MIVEC motors at 162hp/162lb-ft torque
