Just did an oil change the other day and i accidentally put 5 quarts (type 5w-20) of oil, after reading online i realized i only needed 4.3 to 4.5 quarts on a Mitsubishi galant 2.4l Mivec engine. i have heard that too much oil is bad for engine...Will i be ok??

 

I think you will be okay.

 

Is there oil in the spark plug holes? if not your fine, if your that worried about it, just drain the oil and try again.
