I’ll preface this with the fact that I’m not really “car smart” beyond the basics, so forgive me if I say something stupid.

When the top of my spyder has been down for a while, it stops just after the back begins to pop up (so about five seconds after pushing the button) and does the beeping like there’s a problem. Sometimes if I let off the button and wait till it finishes beeping it will go right up, sometimes it takes a few tries. I’ve had the car for about a year and never had any issues before.

Any ideas whats going on?

My my friend has the same issue now on a 2007 spider GT

Do you have any info to share as to what the problem was ?
