LOL I agree with you the 4g64 is much more boost friendly than the 420a.

I just got thinking, now that they no longer make the srt-4 mitsu should take the 4g64 and boost it. That would be a killer tuner car. But the price tag would poly be too high. If they could lower the tag, to around 20 new I bet that it would dominate tha wrx/cobolt market and not interfer with the evo sales. Input anyone?

 

the 4G 4cyl eclipse comes with the 4G69 MIVEC engine....not the 4G64.

there is an application called Photoshop that can EASILY do that. just b/c its there, doesn't mean its real. and by the background of the picture, i KNOW a picture editing software was used to make that edit that picture.

thats why i would like to know some information around it....and more engine pictures(like with the hood up).

 

For me its too hard to tell what it exactly is, it looks like it could be an intercooler(the one part looks like an endtank) but then again it could be a radiator.

 

Dont the 4g's come with a 6cyl? Is that the 4g69 "eclipsed4u" was talking about?

 

Well mine did. The GT is a 6 cyl and the GS is the 4 cyl now. I can't wait to get a turbo for my GT. Then I may be able to really squash me some Mustangs....lol

the 4G comes in both 4cyl and V6.

GS = 4cyl
GT = V6

4cyl = 4G69 MIVEC
V6 = 6G75 MIVEC
