the '07's will have the convertables. they look like hardtops though.

ITs a soft top, if it were hard it would be painted and shiny like the rest of the car.

Wouldnt the hard tops be standred eclipses and the soft tops be spyders like they have been in the past?

just b/c they've never had it before doesn't mean that they will never do it.

That wasn't the point I was making. Sorry I should have clarified. What I was pointing out is that the standard eclipse isn't a convertable. The HT convert should be a spyder due to being a convert...

nono There are two types of convertables reg"soft top" and hard top convertables to where the top is rigid panel(s).

I understand THAT part of it but wouldn't the HT convertable be considered a Spyder due to the fact that it would be a convert? Or would they keep the HT as a regular Eclipse? And I'm not saying it isn't a possibility I know it hasn't been done but could always be done for the car in the future I'm just saying that I think it would be a spyder even if it WAS a HT convert.
