06 eclipse gt auto vs 05 RX8 manual
1/4 of a mile race????????

 

My guess would be the Eclipse but not sure how autos can do. the GT 6spd is faster than an rx8. I have been in an rx8 and it was adog the thing was terrible for a nearly $30k car

 

the RX8s are VERY VERY poor quarter mile cars, stock. stock for stock, the GT should OWN the mazda.

 

i have a 06 gt auto myself and been arguin with my friends for like 3 days straight, some say i will win some say he will own me in a race, i would love to race one tho

 

an RX8 will not own your car, just wont happen I have been in one and I was SO disappointed in it. the 6spd 4G runs a 14.3 I have read and I have seen RX8s pull off high 14s. the Rx8 weights nothing and has no torque what so ever...put it this way he couldnt even get a donut outta the Auto RX8 and barley even a tire squeel it was laughable for sure. I think you will absolutly OWN a stock RX8

 

the Gt is so sick and even though its auto it would still own that rotary crap on the quarter...

 

lol you gotta look out for those rotary motors though, they can be beasts when built up

 

who cares just go race one if you want to know. I wouldnt feel mighty beating one though it wasnt made to drag race but im sure it would make mince meat of you on any track
