Amp Power Cable
find a grommet. if there isn't anything reasonably accessable, next best option is to drill. and my recomendation is if you're running a 1600watt amp, you'll need to do a few things.
1.) Scrap your 4 awg and get at least a 2
2.) Upgrade your chasis ground
3.) Minimum of a 1 Farad capacitor, preferably a 1 1/2 or 2 Farad would be better
4.) Upgrade your alternator
5.) Invest in some sound dedening, your car's body pannels are going to buzz like a nest of pissed off bees. You don't want to be that guy.
And for the love of God, what speakers are you trying to push that require so much power to move them?

Evos exactly right; though, Id get a larger CAP if I were you... 1Farad for every Kw.
DEF Dynamat or "Great stuff" anything around the subbox though... like he said, you DONT wanna be that guy.

before we go demanding significant electrical upgrades it would probably be a good idea to find out exactly what "1600w" amp this is. As a lot of people are aware of there's a LOT of difference between a chromed out, lit up Pyramid with 1600w stamped on the shell and a legitimate 1600w rms amp.
on a side note: a cap is by no means a requirement. If you want one it should be the final step. They are not critical to the function of the amp or your charging system.
