So i bought me a nice 2000 eclipse gs today and am starting to find things on it. I have the infinity stereo in it, i believe its a single cd player and cassette player. my question is, where do the sub wires run to, i found the amp but not the sub. is it not in the trunk? or is it under the rear seat or anything? and if i dont have it can i just get a cheap sub for now and plug it into the infinity amp and bump till i upgrade?

 

There is no sub in the 3g Eclipses that have the Infinity systems. The Eclipse only gets a sub with the Rockford Fosgate sun & sound package. BTW, the Infinity factory system sucks *****, virtually every customer that I get that wants audio work done to the car has me rip the thing out. I recomend you do the same if you're looking for a good sounding system.
