Installing an aftermarket sterio
damn how can you mess it up that bad, stereo installs are the easiest thing. i used to have a 94 civic hatch and the wiring was so messed at first that when i turned the stereo on the lights would turn on. can you say GHETTO. its real easy to do. here is a helpful hint: play the color wired matching game: it works very well
I can install stereo's no problem, but I never had to mess with a factory amp before... and since there are 7 total speakers in the car, I wasn't about to start hacking and slashing the wires, lol.
I'm getting sick of messing with wires doing the turbo engine conversion on my pulsar was enough had to rewire the loom so the ecu would sit under that passengers side seat and i had to than rewire the battery in the boot cause there is no room to fit it back in the engine bay not to mention rewiring everything else back up amp, dash, sensors. It can be a nightmare.

well even if the car has 7 speakers and an amp it should still be easy. just run the remote wire to the factory amp and then figure out what wires go to the front speakers and the wires that go to the rear speakers.
Its not that easy, if it is anything like my 2002 eclipse with the infinity crap. There is a serial type wire running from the head unit to the factory amp. I just cut and rewired. Bad part is that i lost my instrument lights during the install. Its not a fuse, Any Clues?
