I just bout a 03 Eclipse GTS, auto, 28k miles, bought the car wrecked as a fixer-upper for myself, tranny was damaged in collision, and am now looking for a used one or a way to fix it.

First question, the ecu is throwing a code P0732 (Gear 2 Incorrect Ratio), and will not move inReverse, it just grinds inside the tranny as soon as it is thrown in reverse, moves forward but is a little sluggish, drives okay, but no reverse.

Second, do i need a tranny from a mitsubishi 3.0L AT vehicle, or will a tranny from a 2.4L eclipese/diamate, etc. work?
