My '09 Lancer GTS (automatic) has 32k and is throwing the OBD II code p0845 - Hydraulic Pressure Test (Transmission Mechanical Fault, Faulty Transmission Solenoid).

I took it to the dealership and had it checked out. The Mechanic told me that if it's cold, and the transmission did not warm up at the same temperature as the engine it will throw that code. I've never heard of a transmission not warming up properly.

My two questions are:
- Has anyone else had this problem?
- Is the mechanic blowing smoke at me?

 

I have a quick question, but doesn't really answer you question... I have an 09 lancer as well and I was wonder where the obd port is located? I can't seem to find it :/
