Question 12 Volt in 2001 eclipse stopped working.

Hi this is my first post.I have had my 2001 eclipse gs for about 2 years now and just discovered this website and the search has already answered a question of mine, its great! I used the search and didnt find an answer for this next question (if i missed it im sorry) and some help would be amazing. here it is, I had an electric tire pump plugged into my front 12 volt outlet while the key was in the accessory position. not wanting to wear down my battery i started the car while the pump was running. normaly this has never hurt anything but this time it killed my outlet. the fuse is fine and the other outlet in the center console works fine. its just anoying to have to plug my phone charger and gps in there. i was told it could be a fuse on the wire? but i dont know how to check. solutions on how to get it working again would be greatly appreciated.

You'll need to replace the socket.

Thanks a lot for the response. thats what i figured. I was told there was a second fuse in the socket itself and was hoping it would be that simple haha. any ideas where to find a replacement or instructions on how to swap it?
