1993 Galant Ignition Coil - 2nd Opinion Please
Hello All!
Hope you can help me... I have a 1993 Galant with 2.0 SOHC engine. Trouble code, spark plugs, and ignition coil resistance point to a possible poblem with the ignition coil. However, the coil itself is built into the distributor. The dealer says the coils is not replaceable-replace the distributor. Wonder if anybody here was able to replace the coil itself without replacing the distributor on these engines? Thanks in advance.

Just wondering how you made out... my daughters car had hard start issues, but now wont start at all. Its a 93 galant as well and it doesnt appear to be getting a spark. Was wondering what you did to fix yours and if you were able to do it yourself...
