I have a 2000 eclipse gt v6 the check engine lite is on ran a obd11 check it gives me the code po431 bank 2 it shows the catalytic converter is defective my question is would this be the catalytic converter thats on the rear next to the firewall or the one on the front just behind the radiator and witch o2 sensor should i check. Thanks

 

Are your cats "cleared"?

 

Thecat you want is the one in front near the rad. As long as the os sensors are working fine for bank 2 thenreplace the cat assembly.
