You are a fool, and if you are asking the question, you shouldn't be doing it.

For the money you could buy a very very clean GSX.

You need to be willing to go the distance. Check on DSMTalk, there are some nice cars on there for sale.

Seriously dude, if you want to turbo the 420a its going to cost you 5-6k JUST in parts. Nevermind dyno and tuning time.

You can't build the turbo kit yourself, you wouldn't get far at all.

No you cant use the turbo head and you can use a 16g turbo but you need to buy a manifold and exhaust. It will cost you somewhere in the 4k range im guessing for all the parts needed. And you can tune it yourself since really youll only be able to run about 8psi. That is only gonna get you right around 200-225 i bet to the wheels. This will put you somewhere around the stock turbo eclipse with a couple upgrades. You might get into the mid 14's with this setup.

Just doesnt justify the cost IMO. The only time its worth doing anything to the 420a is if you plan on going big and totally rebuilding the motor, because in that case your basically doing what you would have to do to any other eclipse
