Default 6g72 tt swap

Hey guys i am about to purchase my second dsm and had a crazy idea. i am about to pick up a 1996 eclipse gs with a 420a that has a bad rod on the number 3 cylinder. so what i was thinking is would it be possible to buy and swap in a 6g72 from a vr-4 and have it fit without too much modification to the firewall if any. i know it would be tight fit but at the same time i think it would be doable/ worth it compared to rebuilding and boosting the 420a. anyways let me know if you gys have any tips on how to make it work or if it even would work. thanks guys

Not a chance in hell. First off how would you even think about trying to get the drivetrain to work. NVM getting that huge *** engine to fit in there. Just forget about it. Its not even close to being worth the time and effort
