I'm not new to turbo's but I am new to Mitshubishi. My son has a 1991 eclise 4g37 1.8 #p1A22 transmission. We thought that we would turbo the 1.8 as I've heard that the 1st gen has good rods,ect. Can you interchange another Mishubishi transmission with a greater strength, such as a 2.0 turbo transmission into this car? I value the opinion of you true tuner guys and think that tuners ROCK.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

im gonna guess that the tranny from the turbo models wont work on you car cuz they have a totally different engine with the 4g63.
