A buddy of mine has a 95 Expo that is in need of some help.

The car has had numerous transmissions problems and has been fixed.

Currently, the car has had a stalling issues when driving. When the car would sit while at work, it would be dead when ready to go home. Would jump it and all would be fine. Replaced the battery, yet still having the problems. Alternator seems to be functioning good.

The Expo is now in the shop, as he got sick of the stalling on the side of the road and jumping it just to get to work. The shop initally said that it was a bad ECU, so they got a new one for it and didn't resolve the issue. Now they are saying and waiting for an ignition coil to come from the dealer. What is so special about the ignition coils for the Expo that it has taken 2 weeks now and they say "the dealer keeps sending the wrong part"?????

Is the car an auto or stick? Man, you got some really bad car problems....well expensive car problems anyway. Also, is this the 3.5 liter engine?

 

It's an Auto 2.4l.
