New plugs and spark plug wires.

Don't buy that performance ****, just get good ole NGK Classics and Mitsubishi spark plug wires... IF you can.

Do u have a check engine light? Could be a vacuum leak at the intake manifold, it'll leak when its cold (vacuum leak=stall) then when it warms up it seals (no vacuum leak=no stall).

Even if he did, there wouldn't be a place in the UK where you can walk in an use the OBD II scanner.

Hey Steve,

In addition to what has been said above I would like to mention coolant/air tempertature circuits. Check the sensors that run to ECU. Any fault in this area greatly affects cold starts.
To get a better idea about what is going on I would recommend monitoring voltage on O2 sensor to see if the engine is running lean or rich. It should be slightly above 1V (depending on type of sensor, check with some tech info for your car) and almost constant at cold and fluctuating below 1V at warmed up condition.

Good luck and funtroubleshooting.
