Default Adding a switch to disable ASTC

The following is my Montero Sport GLS, 2013, 3.2L DI-D, Model 4M4:

This originally came without rear diff locker, therefore no switch to disable the stability control and traction control systems. I have added an aftermarket locker and a switch to completely disable the ABS, the stability control and traction control systems, also known as ASTC. I have seen several threads about this and seems that no one has the right answer. Well it is actually pretty easy. After reading the service manuals, I realized all these controls are managed by the ABS/ASTC-ecu, which is located under the hood, on the passenger side. This ecu receives signals from different sensors, like wheel sensors, YAM and G sensors, etc.... All these sensors are connected to ABS/ASTC-ecu through a big connector, which has 2 connections to ground. You just have to tap into those GND cables and install the switch, as seen in the following pics:

Use the horn cable hole to pass the cable through the wall:

I have decided to install the switch just beside the rear diff locker switch, which I have also installed aftermarket.

And do not forget to add a fuse to the ASTC-ecu's end. You do not want hot wires going through inside your dashboard. I have plugged a 20 amp fuse for a 12 awg cable, and it has been more than enough so far.

That's all! Thanks

English is not my native language, so I do apologize for any inconvenience. Bye!
