body work for paint??
i got a black 96 gs that i plan to get painted..color idk yet...i know and plan on replacing the front fenders and getting a new hood but as for the doors,rear panels,and top of car...where their may be minor dents from weather,other doors,etc..is it easier,cheaper for me to get the stuff to fix them myself or let the bodyshop that piants it fix the dents..if i do it what will i need??

Body shop charges by the hour. More prep work you can do the better. Talk to the shop you are going to use and ask what you can do prior to bringing in the car. May want to leave the dent pulling/filling to them, but you can still save $$$$$ by taking off trim, sanding, etc.
Go on line and look up sites on doing body work or go to the library and check out a book on it. You can shave dollars off the cost.
