Can't see with projection lights... ?
Hi there, I got a Lancer GT a while ago and it came with projection headlights. I work 12 hour shifts out of town so 80% of the time I'm driving on pitch black country roads that are littered with all kinds of wildlife. Compared to my old car, I find these headlights (on dims) are super bright up until a sharp cut-off shortly in front of me, after which I can't see anything. The brights are really good, but it's a single lane highway with sometimes a lot of traffic so I can't use them all the time. With all the wildlife (I've ran over a porcupine in my truck, and need to dodge deer about every other day) I need to be able to see farther in front of me. Is the "super-bright-up-until-the-cut-off" characteristic of the projectors something that can be adjusted, or would I have to go back to a standard type headlight? I just feel like I'm overdriving my headlights even only going 100k/hr. Any input would be appreciated.
