Carisma bonnet cable snapped

Default Carisma bonnet cable snapped
Hi
The bonnet cable on my Carisma has snapped. I've tried all sorts to open the bonnet another way, but to no avail.

Can anyone tell me how to open the bonnet with no cable?

usually u can see from behind the grill where the cable goes take a piece of strong wire and see if u can attach it to the little lever that pops the hood, thats the only way
