check engine light reset
I have a 03 Eclipse. My check engine light came on so I had it checked at the auto parts store. It registered as a faulty O2 sensor. I plan to replace the sensor myself, but need to know how to reset the check engine light afterwards. Thanks for your suggstions.
Most models have a small switch behind one of the switch blanks located in the dash. A blank looks like a place where you can add additional switches for accessories. They pop out easily and pop back in the same. Look for a small switch behind one of those and flip the switch. It should turn out the Check Engine light.
