Would a datalogger be a good invest. I was talking to a friend not to long ago and he said I should invest in a datalogger. Does anyone
have one in their car or has used one before. Do you know where I can find one for a 98 Gst Eclipse? Whats your opinion on them

16G turbo, stage 1 clutch, shepard transmission, evo 8 intercooler, 3" turbo back exhaust, walbro 255 fuel pump. I want one so i can know whats going on with the motor. Right now its runny ****ty as hell and I wanna try and stay on top of tuning the car a keep it running good. In a couple of weeks im going to get it dyno tuned and buy an S-AFC. Also I've had a couple of people tell me it would be a good investment

well if you want the complete kit. You could get DSMlink which can tune more than an S-afc and will datalog for you www.dsmlink.com however you need a laptop for it and a 95 ECU. But it will give you tuning for timing and A/F. This is the little more expensive route though. If you want to just get the SAFC then get a wideband o2 guage with it, then you can pretty much tune the car yourself.

if you only plan on the safc then the wideband and a passenger is all the datalogging you really need . Do you have a MBC and boost guage, cuz thats something you might want to get as well

I do have a boost gauge but I dont have a mbc yet. I want the Greddy E-01 or w.e it is but its a pretty penny so im trying to save up for that and the safc and wideband. Basically everything is a work in progress and coming lil by lil
